Yetim Children Care Center -YCCC a local civil society organization has been established in 2000 by volunteer initiators and legally registered at the Federal Authority for Civil Society Organizations with the registration No.0195. YCCC aims to serve orphan and vulnerable children OVC and their families.
As a non-profit a nongovernmental organization our objectives stretched towards reaching orphan and vulnerable children: Orphans, disabled children, street children, and children affected/infected with HIV/AIDS, families/caregivers.
Major needs of the beneficiaries/clients of the organization/ include food or nutrition, health services, education, and psychosocial support.
Organizational Arrangement. The core organizational arrangement of the charity: General Assembly, the Board of Directors and the management staff. The general assembly, composed of members from the local community, founders & members from the core project staff, is the supreme body that makes deliberations on policy issues. The board of directors mainly concerned with the execution of the policies and decisions drawn by the general assembly. The management staff, lead by the general manager, is concerned solely with the execution and implementation of day to day organizational activities.

Objectives
General Objectives
The general or overall goal of the charity is to improve the socio-economic conditions of highly vulnerable children and their families so as to contribute to the poverty alleviation strategy of the country.
Specific Objectives
- Access OVC for education, health services and nutrition with other supplementary needs.
- Provide Psycho-social support for OVC & their families.
- Support OVC families/mothers or caregivers through the provision of technical and entrepreneurial skill training and start-up capital for sustainable income aiming to reduce their economic vulnerability.
- Provide family-based financial support for the target OVC for the purpose of food/nutrition , education, health care services and other children's needs.
- Contribute to the effort of enhancing the well-being and productivity of the rural community through the provision of potable water supply and sanitation services

Our vision is to see orphan and vulnerable children become healthy, well-educated and self-reliant citizens.
Mission
Our mission is to improve the livelihood of orphan and vulnerable children in a local society by improving their economic conditions through giving emphasis on psycho-social issues health care and education.
